Ann was first noticed when she was performing in an event for Vogue's fashion together with her band. In less than a week and a half, the editor-in-chief Diana Vreeland commissioned Ann to shoot the very first Vogue Cover with photographer Richard Avedon. Ann was one of America's most well-known models, appearing on the covers of top magazines like Vogue Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and several other magazines. Ann modeled successfully for cosmetics companies like Max Factor Revlon, Chanel and Europe in Europe after two years.
