Her mother is Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of mobile company Verizon. Her father was a businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of an Internet-based network business. Her family was Catholic and she grew up in the Upper East Side in Manhattan. Because of this, her parents enrolled the Convent of the Sacred Heart an eminent religious school. The girl was a lover of music as an infant. She learned how to play the piano and at thirteen she wrote her first song. She took part in the open mic evening. Her favourite singers are queen Michael Jackson Madonna David Bowie. The graduate of New York University, Tisch School of Art she began taking music classes after her high school graduation. After high school, however and entering the Tisch School of Fine Arts at New York University to learn about music.
