It was not until her kidneys recovered that she could be saved after she developed an infection with septicae and eventually was diagnosed with multiple organ malfunctions. It was her new normal to have not peritoneal but hemolysis. After an hospitalization of 80 days, Angelica was almost dead and then on a road of recuperation. Angelica, after a one-year dialysis treatment and a half-year of dialysis, was now set for the most significant operation of all - an organ replacement. Angelica's mom was the only person who was able to donate the kidney. Angelica as well as her mom underwent an organ transplant successfully on the 13th of September, 2013 at two amazing hospitals that were close to each other: Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young teenager from Atlanta, who always thought of becoming an actor and a singer she is still working toward the dream.
