Amanda Bossard net worth

Amanda Bossard graduated from high school in 1992. She then began studying marine sciences at Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage. Bossard started her career in commercial seafood at the age of 1999, after she began working as a crew member on the F/V Sunset the 65' halibut schooner turned to salmon tender with Murat Aritan, a commercial fisherman since 1993. Bossard got married to Aritan in 1999 and the two have joined in fighting for their company. They both believe in conservation as well as profiting from sustainable resources within the fishing industry. Otolith launched its direct market wholesale distributorship in Philadelphia when Bossard was able to return from home with her two daughters, Bella 3 years old and Andre 1year old, and Andre 1, to Philadelphia. Its name is a sweet reference to her deep fish biology knowledge and her husband's lengthy involvement in the seafood industry often keeping them apart for 5 months or more at a time as they work towards economic and environmental objectives that are a reflection of their individuality and dedication to the community in which they live. Bossard along with Isabella and Andre (ages 10 and 12 respectively) are back each year, beginning in July of 2016 in Southeast Alaska for the summer harvest of salmon wild. Following two years of fishing using hooks, lines and a 42-foot salmon trolling machine they joined Aritan and were sold local processors of seafood. Amanda Bossard is an Anchor/MMJ for News 12 the Bronx and News 12 Brooklyn she's been with the stations since November. She's passionate about telling impactful stories, and is a champion of everything positive taking place within the communities she covers.
